The Daffodil Festival (la Fête des Jonquilles) |
This beautiful floral festival is only possible thanks to the work and ingenuity of Gérardmer's inhabitants who built waggons carrying characters covered by this typical yellow flower that symbolises spring time. The waggons parade in the town with several international musical bands.

The Natural Reseration of
Tanet Gazon du Faing |

Created in january 1988, the reservation Tanet Gazon du Faing is located both on
Plainfaing and Valtin areas. Its surface is 505 hectares
the three environments represented are the forest
(firtree, spruce, beech), peat-bogs
and les chaumes. Many remarkable vegetal and animal species are represented.
